Nifty but an extremely incremental update that not many people will notice. Spotlight can now handle flight status updates - just key in the flight number and a window with the flight's path, departure/arrival information and so on pops up. Siri has also got a new voice - which is meant to make it sound more human but it really does not. From the menu bar to the dock to built-in apps, almost every text in the OS can now be displayed in Hindi. MacOS High Sierra brings with a new feature that might be loved by a lot of people here in India. With High Sierra, developers can now create interactive VR apps for the Mac. Metal 2 adds capabilities like machine learning, virtual reality and external GPU support. This is again something that normal users will not really interact with directly, but affects future apps, games and so on. Apple claims Metal 2 is 100-times faster than OpenGL and 10-times faster than the original Metal.
High Sierra also brings with it Metal 2 - Apple's new graphics engine.
